From an early age, my fascination with biodiversity and ecology guided my academic journey toward genetics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. Currently, as an adjunct professor at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT) and coordinator of AraguaiaBiotech (ABLIB), I lead research focused on genomic surveillance of pathogens in South America, integrating genomics, transcriptomics, and metagenomics. My goal is to foster collaborative research networks, expand access to advanced genomic technologies, and mentor scientists dedicated to biodiversity conservation, biosecurity, and sustainable innovation in Brazil.
